The body utilizes a hollow structure made of layered paper, staying true to the traditional hariko (papier-mâché) technique. When you hold it, you may find it surprisingly light. 伝統工芸と現代素材の融合した京都デニムの生地は、着物に用いられてきた 300年以上の歴史を持つ染色技術をデニムという現代素材に重ねることで、新たな表現を探求してきました。 本作では、だるまのフォルムに その金彩友禅（Kinsai Yuzen） の染色・金彩技法を施したデニム生地を使用しています。
